I will mesure the rotation speed of that PTO in those two possibilities. In the 540 position PTO is always spinning even not gear is selected, and the other makes it spin when a gear is selected. Yes I drained the rear axle too, more water than in the front. Now it's filled up to level with new oil....

The new oil 80W90 API GL 4 just arrived yesterday by delivery. The gearbox and rear axle have been draining a week long now. To be certain the very most of old oil is gone.
